ABOUT ME | ROEE BE'ER
I was born in Israel and since 2018 I have been living and teaching in Munich
For years I suffered from severe back pain and tried all the usual methods to get relief, but nothing seemed to work. By chance I discovered the Feldenkrais method.
Right from the start, this method had such a positive and powerful effect on my body that I began to study this teaching more intensively and eventually successfully completed training to become a Feldenkrais teacher at the Wingate Institute. At about the same time, I discovered the non-violent martial art Aikido , which focuses on harmonious, flowing, grounded and centered movements.
Just like with Feldenkrais, the effect on my body and mind was amazing, and I began to get completely involved. From 2009 to 2018, I trained daily with Miles Kessler Sensei in "the Integral Dojo" in Tel Aviv, until I started teaching regular Aikido courses myself in early 2013. To further expand my expertise, I trained for a long time with Thor Schoo Sensei a from Frankfurt and Patrick Cassidy Sensei from Montreux. Both had a strong influence on my development. I currently hold an Aikido Sandan (3rd Dan black belt).
My goal is to pass on my knowledge to teach others how to deal with pain, connect with their body and in this way exploit their full powerful potential
